At 25 metres and with a capacity of 16 divers, the MY Ghazala I is one of the smaller Sharm El Sheikh liveaboards. It is one of the old school boats of Egypt and was totally rebuilt in 2004. Now it operates dive charters around the Sinai Peninsula to sites such as the Thistlegorm and the Straits of Tiran.

At a max speed of 14 knots she is no slouch and remains a popular choice among divers due to the free nitrox, and the spacious 30m² dive deck which has 10 equipment spaces so you need not be on top of each other as the pre-dive excitement mounts. There are also hot fresh water showers on the deck for your comfort.

There are 4 triple and 2 double cabins all with portholes and ensuite bathrooms, located on the lower deck of the liveaboard. The Ghazala I never feels too crowded with normally between 12 and 16 guests on board even when all are in the spacious saloon enjoying the music or video systems.
