Sea Serpent Grand is the flagship of the Sea Serpent's Red Sea cruise fleet and doesn't skimp on luxury in any respect. This modern 43 metre long liveaboard is designed with speed and luxury in mind, ensuring scuba divers get between sites as quickly and comfortably as possible while maintaining stability, even in rough seas.

14 cabins are to be found on Sea Serpent Grand, which includes top-class Red Sea liveaboard diving comforts like music, a fridge / minibar and en-suite bathrooms which are large and feature multi-jet showers.

In the communal areas the saloon on the main deck takes advantage of all the space and is equipped with cutting edge entertainment equipment. Outside, a large open area provides the opportunity for soaking up the sun, or enjoying views of the Red Sea from a shaded area, both of which have ample comfortable seating and sun matresses.

Sea Serpent Grand is also the technical diver's dream. It features a helium/oxygen blending station and a Haskel pump, catering to both the open and closed circuit technical divers. 200-bar oxygen fills are provided as well as on-demand trimix, heliox and nitrox. There is also an ENOS diver safety system onboard. Note this liveaboard has a special package available for guests from the USA.

Customer reviews:

Customer rating - Good
"Everything was great except: on the last day we arrived In Hurghada port around 20 hrs before disembarking.
After lunch, Karim (tour leader) tells everyone we MUST fill out the quality questionnaire and deliver the tips in 30 minutes. Then he says he needs everyone to cancel our plans of hanging out in the port and stay on the liveaboard for a movie. The movie did not start until 9:30 pm so he kept us waiting for 3 hours to show us a video of the pictures he took. After the movie ended he pressures everyone (Egyptian style) to raise up their hand if they don’t want to pay, making this uncomfortable to everyone.
Since the very first check dive, he had his camera ( both hands needed ) with him until the very last dive. This is unprofessional, he is supposed to be a dive guide, not a photographer diver (we did not ask for any pictures). Instead of helping us with the check dive he was acting mad if our buoyancy was not good or for any small problem.
It is uncomfortable to ask us for generous tips (which we did give), not knowing that after we turned in the tips, he would again ask for money for a video.
We were only in 1 picture in the video and for this he made us pay 24 euros each. Other than that, all the trip was fine, the other 2 dive guides were hard working and nice. We had fun and received a great service from everyone (except Karim who was kind of grumpy every day).
