M/V Seadoors is a comfortable, European-operated, no frills Philippines liveaboard tour boat with a focus on diving. Both nitrox and rebreather facilities are available for certified divers during the variety of trips offered in the Sulu Sea, Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, Malapascua and the Visayas.

The 12 Seadoors liveaboard crew members are on hand to ensure that your Philippines diving tour experience is a memorable one. All cabins are air conditioned, have windows for natural lighting and fresh sea air and have en-suite bathrooms. Meals are buffet style and make the most of the fresh local fare, with added touches of French cuisine, and can be complemented with wines from the boat's cellar.

MV Seadoors is a mid sized 25m steel mono-hull liveaboard, yet you won't feel cramped. You can choose to relax or socialise between dives at one of the many communal areas. The spacious sun deck has reclining loungers, a shaded outdoor lounge is perfectly situated at the bow to take in the views, the covered dining area offers shade and shelter from the sea spray. If it's respite from the tropical heat you seek, the air-conditioned saloon is the perfect spot to prepare your camera gear at the dedicated charging station, or kick back and relive your spectacular dives on the flatscreen TV.

The dive deck is functional and ticks all the boxes. Each diver has an individual basket for personal gear, and access to the 2 tenders is via the platform. This is a simple transition and you will not have to navigate stairs or ladders. Underwater scooters are available for the Visayas trips. Following each dive you will be welcomed with a warm towel after rinsing off under the dive deck shower. Your camera gear can be rinsed in the dedicated rinse tanks, and any maintenance can take place on the convenient camera workbench. The most difficult part of your M/V Seadoors Philippine diving cruise will be to decide which tour to book.

How to get there: The MV Seadoors liveaboard departs from either Cebu Yacht Club, or Puerto Princesa on Palawan Island. Return transfers to and from the boat/airport/hotel are included in your trip, however within a reasonable distance of the liveaboard. Please confirm at the time of booking.
Tubbutaha, Apo Island & The Visayas: These tours depart from either Puerto Princesa, or the Cebu Yacht Club (please see the transfer details as described below).
Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park: Departs from Puerto Princesa. You are required to book a return flight to/from Puerto Princesa on Palawan Island. Domestic connections are possible from both Cebu and Manila.
Malapascua & The Visayas, and Visayas & Camiguin: Both itineraries depart from the Cebu Yacht Club. The Cebu Yacht Club is less than a 10 minute drive from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport. You can either fly directly into Cebu or you can book a connecting flight from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (also known as Manila International Airport). If you are transiting in Manila, keep in mind that you will need to transfer from the international terminal to the domestic terminal by taxi. You should allow at least 2 hours for this transfer.

Diving Environment: The Philippines is made up of over 7,000 islands within the Coral Triangle. Steep walls, offshore pinnacles, coastal reefs with excellent macro life such as pygmy seahorses and frogfish, and areas with an abundance of whale sharks, plus rare encounters with thresher sharks. Roughly speaking, the 'rainy season' is June to November, and dry season is December to May. The liveaboard operates year round and follows the most reliable weather patterns. Water temperatures usually range between 24 - 28°C / 75 - 82°F, so wear an appropriate exposure suit. Most people are comfortable in a 3 mm full length wetsuit in the Philippines. The last dive of the tour will be at around 13:30 hrs on the second last day of the trip. Please wait at least 18 hours before flying after diving.

Non-diver rate: 8% off the Standard cabin published price.

Single supplement (if you do not want to share accommodation): This is optional - single travellers may choose to share a cabin or add 75% to the normal published price.

Dive clubs and group discounts: Pay for 15 guests and 1 additional person can join the cruise in a Standard cabin free of charge.

Whole boat charter rate (per night): 2017: 6 nights Tubbataha US$ 5,876, 6 nights Malapascua & The Visayas US$ 5,344. Please check with us for other itineraries.
