Carpe Vita is a sleek, 38 metre long motor yacht, purpose-built in 2011 for Maldives liveaboard diving. Cruises of either 7 or 10 nights depart from Male and take in the best sites of the central atolls including North Male, South Male and Ari Atoll. Occassionally trips are run to the more remote northern and southern atolls of the Maldives.
The emphasis on board Carpe Vita is to dive a lot and relax in style. There are 4 dives per day as standard, plus 2 free beers or wine each day to help you unwind. The diving focus is also evident in the availability of various sizes of scuba tanks and nitrox. All the diving and tank-filling is done on board the accompanying dhoni dive tender.
The stylish nature of a Carpe Vita liveaboard cruise comes in the form of the interior of the boat. Up to 20 guests are accommodated in a range of very spacious, well-appointed en-suite cabins. The cabins are generous in terms of space and comfort - more like hotel rooms than cabins - and feature individual high-definition TV screens and DVD players.
The air conditioned saloon is well-appointed and comes complete with entertainment facilities, movie and book library and games. The sun deck features plenty of comfortable sun beds, a shaded lounge area and a Jacuzzi hot tub for the ultimate in relaxation.
When you consider Maldives liveaboards, choose life. Choose the Carpe Vita.
