Built in 2006, the Baani Adventurer is a new liveaboard operating cruises around some of the Maldives best dive sites.

The boat has plenty of room to accommodate up to 18 scuba divers, all in cabins with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. 7 of the cabins are double/twin bed and there are 2 suites for those demanding that little bit more luxury.

On-board facilities include a saloon featuring TV, DVD player and music system, as well as a comfortable bar. There is also a jacuzzi forsoothing your limbs or enjoying a little cocktail at sunset, as well as plenty of sun-bathing space on the upper deck - ideal for taking in the views or chilling out on a lounger or mattress with a good book in the sun or in the shade.

As with most tour boats in the Maldives, the diving is done from a dhoni, where the equipment also stays so you do not have to worry about carrying heavy loads to and from the dive boat. Nor is there any concern of intrusive compressor noise on the main boat when you are enjoying the peace and quiet of the open sea.

The Baani Adventurer is not the most luxurious of Maldives liveaboards but it is comfortable and roomy and offers very good value money, especially considering the little touches like room service and the jacuzzi. In addition to the excellent diving and cruising you can, on most trips, enjoy island visits and a picnic/BBQ on an uninhabited island, as well as sightseeing and shopping in the Maldivian capital city of Male on the last day of your adventure.
