MV Adora, built in 2014 is one of the newer Maldives liveaboards although it is operated by a long-established Maldivian dive company, with many years of experience operating diving charters. The stylish and stable 37m long Adora normally runs 7 night tours around the central atolls with a maximum of 21 guests on board.

MV Adora boasts 4 decks of comfort with plenty of space in which to relax and chat to other guests. The saloon/dining area is the main social spot with air-conditioning, comfortable sofas, large picture windows and a bar. Here you can enjoy the TV, DVD, music system and computer plus the books, magazines and games and the free Wi-Fi internet. There is another bar located on the large sundeck so you can enjoy sunset views with a little tipple. The sundeck is very spacious and has ample built-in comfortable bench seating both in the sun and shade.

Diving is conducted from the 20m dive dhoni which has spaces for 30 divers and has the added convenience of a fresh water shower and toilet onboard so you can rinse off and relieve yourself quickly after you surface. Complimentary nitrox is available and tanks are filled on site in the dhoni, so you can relax in peace and quiet on the mothership.

To add that little bit of extra luxury all the ensuite cabins, including the Superior single cabin, are equipped with TVs with movie and music channels plus a minibar. Spaciousness and modernity are 2 of the things that set Adora apart from many other liveaboards. It is purpose-built to meet the needs of scuba enthusiasts coming to the Maldives to eat, sleep and dive.

Customer reviews:

Customer rating - Very good
"The Adora boat was amazing. The beds were super comfy, rooms spacious with a full bathroom, big windows and private balcony! People we allowed to smoke everywhere on the boat which was annoying. Overall though, the Adora was great. Loved the boat, loved our dive guide." - , Canada, 16 January 2018 ...
