The Tatawa liveaboard is all about diving Komodo National Park and catering to the desires of their no-frills clients. The 21m vessel was specifically designed with small dive group charters in mind. With a maximum of 8 guests, with shorter duration trips, (or longer by request) are customised to suit the diving group.

You can expect hearty meals, functional facilities and good service from the 8 crew of this European owner-operated Indonesian liveaboard. The 5 Standard cabins on the lower deck offer 3 different sleeping configurations. These include single cabins (no need to pay a single supplement!) which is very unusual for a liveaboard of this size, however all divers share the 2 bathrooms. Other communal facilities include the air-conditioned dining / saloon area, covered fore deck and sun deck.

The large dive deck provides ample space to prepare for sublime Komodo diving. Full equipment rental is included in the price (5% discount if you use your own diving gear). Your 2 divemasters will ensure that the dive sites are selected according to the abilities of the group and will endeavour to fulfill all your 'wish lists' - as long as nature is accommodating. Create your personalised charter itinerary from Komodo's 40+ dive sites with the assistance of the experienced Tatawa staff.

Enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, a Komodo dragon experience, sun bathing on deserted islands, and sundowners (bring your own onboard) during your Indonesian liveaboard diving tour with Tatawa. All you have to do is choose how many nights your trip will be.

Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation with air-conditioning, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinking water, hot drinks, land tour, dives (as detailed in the trips above), experienced English-speaking divemaster(s) (max 4 divers per DM), full equipment, tanks, weights and weightbelts (5% discount if you use your own diving gear).

Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Komodo National Park and harbour clearance entrance fee (US$ 15 per day per person). Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash).

How to get there: Tatawa liveaboard diving charters depart in the morning from Labuan Bajo, Flores. Please arrive the night before your departure. You can fly direct to Labuan Bajo from Bali and we can help you arrange this flight. You will meet at the Dive Komodo shop (Jalan Soekarno Hatta) on the morning of your departure before 09:00 hrs. The last dive on all of these tours will be at around 13:00 hrs. Please wait at least 18 hours before flying after diving.

Single supplement (if you do not want to share accommodation): This is optional - There are 2 single cabins available for bookings, if these are both booked, single travellers may choose to share a cabin or pay a supplement of 100% of the published price.

Dive clubs and group discounts: See whole boat charter rate. Equivalent to: Pay for 7 guests and 1 extra person can join the cruise in a Standard cabin free of charge (total 8 guests).

Whole boat charter rate (per night): 2 nights - US$ 1,837, 4 nights - US$ 1,531, 6 nights - US$ 1,429.

Tatawa has 5 Standard cabins, located on the lower deck with centralised air conditioning, fans and portholes. They all share 2 bathrooms. There are 2 cabins with double beds, 2 cabins with a single bed each, and 1 cabin with twin beds.

Menu, Cuisine Type...

Meals are served in Tatawa's air conditioned dining area or picnic style on the open air deck. Large portions of lightly spiced Asian and western main meals include fish, chicken, tofu, vegetables, pasta, rice and noodles. Delicious fresh bread is served with each meal.

The liveaboard trip dining service begins with lunch on the first day of the diving tour, breakfast and lunch are served on the last day of the charter.
