West Papua liveaboard, the Black Manta, Indonesia

This is a West Papua liveaboard with high quality cabins and is built with the diver in mind, as evidenced by the large dive deck which features nitrox and ample room for all guests to gear up. All cabins have en-suite hot water bathrooms and enjoy a daily maid service.

The indoor saloon and dining area are large, with air-conditioning and a high quality audio-visual entertainment system. Other relaxation spots include a shaded outdoor area to the rear of the saloon, an upper deck and an enormous sundeck where you can enjoy a relaxing massage.

The KM Black Manta operates as a Raja Ampat liveaboard from November to April. During the high season months from May to October in Komodo you can expect to see black mantas below the surface and above the waves as this boat takes in the best dive sites of this world famous national park.

Customer reviews:

"The boat was really comfortable. There was loads of space, as there were only 6 clients on the trip. The food was nice, though there was one day that it was bad. The diving was good and all carried out with safety in mind. The quality of the rental equipment was very good, and the dive leaders really know their stuff and went to great lengths to point out stuff for us." - Mary O'Donohoe, Ireland ...

"Our Ambon, Banda Islands and Raja Ampat trip on the Black Manta was phenomenal. Everything went flawlessly and the sites were fantastic. " - Deborah Scholem, Australia ...

"Cedric (the cruise director) and the crew knew their dive sites very well and we got to see a lot of fish life. Diving with this boat was a brilliant experience. The boat crew however aren't so professional. They are happy and smile a lot but do the minimum for you with regards to your dive equipment etc." - Jenny Conway, Australia ...
