The 30 metre long, mono-hulled liveaboard that the Aggressor Fleet operates in Ecuador, Galapagos Aggressor III operates trips all year round. Normally for 7 nights' duration and, with the Aggressor's local experience, you can be confident your cruise will include some of the best diving possible, as well as an interesting full-day's land tour.
The Galapagos Aggressor III is a custom-built diving liveaboard boat, so space and convenience are evident from the moment you step on board. With a 16 guest maximum and 9 crew, you can expect plenty of room - in the en-suite cabins and throughout the boat - as well as a high level of personal service in both English and Spanish.
Almost all dives are done from a dive tender, allowing easy access to all the best sites. Photographers will appreciate that nitrox is available and the dive deck features both a camera rinse tank and table. After diving, guests can warm up in the upper deck hot tub while viewing the spectacular Galapagos island scenery.
You can also relax in the air-conditioned saloon with a complimentary local beer and local wine, stay connected with friends using the onboard internet (fee payable), check their images on the onboard computer, or enjoy some music or movies on the entertainment system. Comfort, service and some seriously spectacular scuba diving on a trip to the remote islands of the Galapagos all await you, the discerning liveaboard diver on the Galapagos Aggressor III.
Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinking water, soft drinks, local wine and beer, transfers to the boat from the airport, dives (as detailed in the trips above), experienced English-speaking divemaster(s) (4-5 divers per DM), tanks, weights and weightbelts.
Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Return flight ticket from Guyaquil or Quito to Baltra payable in advance, restaurant meal on final evening, scuba equipment (7 nights US$ 175, 10 nights US$ 260), diving computer, dive insurance, Galapagos National Park entrance fee US$ 100, transit card US$ 20. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or credit card).
Optional extras: Imported alcoholic drinks, nitrox fills for enriched air certified divers (7 nights US$ 100, 10 nights US$ 150), torches. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.
How to get there: Galapagos Aggressor diving trips depart from Baltra every Thursday afternoon. Guests fly into Ecuador and take a connecting flight, through Guayaquil or Quito, to Baltra in the Galapagos Islands. Both Guayaquil and Quito have daily flights, although Guayaquil is recommended with cheaper prices and better-timed connections.
You will need to overnight in Guayaquil or Quito before flying on to the Galapagos. To ensure easy flight connections, a 2 night stop-over is recommended. On the return leg you will probably need to overnight in Guayaquil or Quito since most international flights depart too early to make the connection possible. The flight from Galapagos arrives in Guayaquil (and then Quito) in the afternoon.
We will place your domestic flight requirements with Aggressor who are responsible for booking the flights. We request your patience with this process since there are often waiting lists and slow confirmations of availability. You must inform us whether you are flying into Guayaquil or Quito before domestic flights can be considered. If you wish to extend your stay in Galapagos to enjoy land tours please decide that early in the booking process to ensure flight availability.
For more information see our Galapagos travel information section. The last dive of the trip will be at around 11.00am. Please wait at least 18 hours before flying after diving.

"Excellent trip. 11 passengers, service was excellent, dive masters knew their stuff, diving was magnificent. Visibility was good, lots of action with sharks, turtles, fish, sea lions, rays and Orca! Food was also good - it's hard to argue with a cup of hot cocoa and cinnabons handed to you after the first dive of the day!" - Karen Whitham, Australia ...
"Rental equipment was in good working order. Dive lights were not available for the night dive so we didn't do it, but not a big deal for us. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Boat was well maintained and clean. Diving was fantastic!!" - Adam Freeman, Australia ...
