Galapagos Islands liveaboards: The Galapagos Aggressor I

The Galapagos Aggressor I is a custom-built diving liveaboard boat, so space and convenience are evident from the moment you step on board. With a 16 guest maximum and 9 crew, you can expect plenty of room - in the en-suite cabins and throughout the boat - as well as a high level of personal service in both English and Spanish.

Almost all dives are done from a dive tender, allowing easy access to all the best diving sites. Photographers will appreciate that nitrox is available and the dive deck features both a camera rinse tank and table. After diving, guests can warm up in the upper deck hot tub while viewing the spectacular Galapagos island scenery.

You can also relax in the air-conditioned saloon with a complimentary local beer and local wine, stay connected with friends using the onboard internet (fee payable), check their images on the onboard computer, or enjoy some music or movies on the entertainment system. Comfort, service and serious diving on a trip to the remote islands of the Galapagos all await you, the discerning liveaboard diver on the Galapagos Aggressor I.

More Trip Details....

Special offers: For special offers check the yellow highlighted trips in the schedule above. Offer expires: 11 Dec 2014

Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinking water, soft drinks, local wine and beer, transfers to the boat from the airport and hotels, dives (as detailed in the trips above), experienced English-speaking divemaster(s)(4-5 divers per DM), tanks, weights and weightbelts.

Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory): Return flight ticket from Guyaquil or Quito to Baltra payable in advance, restaurant meal on final evening, scuba equipment (7 nights US$ 175, 10 nights US$ 260), dive computer, dive insurance, Galapagos entrance fee US$ 100, transit card US$ 10. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (customers might provide their own where appropriate at no extra cost).

Optional extras: Imported alcoholic drinks, nitrox fills for enriched air certified divers (if available) (7 nights US$ 100, 10 nights US$ 150), torches. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.

How to get there: Galapagos Aggressor I departs from Baltra every Thursday afternoon. Guests fly into Ecuador and take a connecting flight, through Guayaquil or Quito, to Baltra in the Galapagos islands. Both Guayaquil and Quito have daily flights to the Galapagos, although Guayaquil is recommended with cheaper prices and better-timed connections.

You will need to overnight in Guayaquil or Quito before flying on to the Galapagos. To ensure easy flight connections to Galapagos, a 2 night stop-over is recommended. On the return leg you will probably need to overnight in Guayaquil or Quito since most international flights depart too early to make the connection possible. The flight from Galapagos arrives in Guayaquil (and then Quito) in the afternoon.

We will place your domestic flight requirements with the liveaboard operator who are responsible for booking the flights. We request your patience with this process since there are often waiting lists and slow confirmations of availability. You must inform us whether you are flying into Guayaquil or Quito before domestic flights can be considered. If you wish to extend your stay in Galapagos to enjoy land tours please decide that early in the booking process to ensure flight availability.

For more information see our Galapagos travel information section.

Non-diver rate: There is no discount for non-divers.

Single supplement (if you do not want to share accommodation): This is optional - single traveller may choose to share a cabin or pay a supplement of 65% of the normal published price.

Dive clubs and group discounts: See whole boat charter rate below. Equivalent to pay for 13 guests and receive 1 extra space in a Deluxe cabin free of charge.

Whole boat charter rate (per night): 2014 - US$ 10,790

Add-on package: Galapagos is a once-in-a-lifetime destination and the above water creatures and environments are just as impressive as below. You can extend your time in this nature-lovers paradise by adding a 3, 4 or 7 night non-diving liveaboard. Estrella del Mar conducts nature tours around some of the finest locations in the Galapagos with naturalist guides, literature and presentations. Donít just leave after a week of diving! Get the full picture of the incredible Galapagos islands.

Customer reviews:

"Excellent trip. 11 passengers, service was excellent, dive masters knew their stuff, diving was magnificent. Visibility was good, lots of action with sharks, turtles, fish, sea lions, rays and Orca! Food was also good - it's hard to argue with a cup of hot cocoa and cinnabons handed to you after the first dive of the day!" - Karen Whitham, Australia ...

"Rental equipment was in good working order. Dive lights were not available for the night dive so we didn't do it, but not a big deal for us. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Boat was well maintained and clean. Diving was fantastic!!" - Adam Freeman, Australia ...
