Constructed in 2012, the SY Fiji Siren is a 40 metre schooner operating 7 night and 10 night trips around some of Fiji's best dive sites, including those at Bligh Water, Taveuni and the Koro Sea. Built from Indonesian ironwood, this European owned and managed Phinisi-style Fiji liveaboard cuts an impressive figure cruising around the soft coral capital of the world.

Operating out of Rakiraki in the north of Viti Levu, up to 16 guests can be accommodated in standard en-suite cabins all with their own flat screen TV and entertainment facilities. This means there is always a lot of space for guests to enjoy, whether in the air-conditioned saloon, open air dining area, or spacious sun deck. For your safety and comfort cabins are cleaned daily, and each has a smoke detector and fire extinguisher.

With 12 crew, you can expect a lot of personal attention from the professional staff. Touches of quality on SY Fiji Siren include fluffy bathrobes, free local beer, in-cabin entertainment, and a laundry and massage service. The impressive diving facilities include being equipped for rebreathers, plenty of designated areas for camera charging, camera table on the dive deck, 12 and 15 litre tanks, lost diver devices, free nitrox, free rental scuba equipment and DIN adaptors.

Additional activities can also include kayaking and water-skiing. SY Fiji Siren is a professionally run liveaboard which delivers just about all you can expect both in terms of diving and providing a high quality cruise experience in the Pacific paradise of the Fiji Islands.

How to get there: The S/Y Fiji Siren departs from VoliVoli Beach Resort, located nearby Rakiraki village on the northernmost tip of Viti Levu. The resort is about 3.5 - 4 hours scenic drive from Nadi International Airport. Taxis and buses are available from the airport. Alternatively, we can arrange for the resort to collect you. Transfers are included in the optional package which includes an overnight stay at Volivoli before and after the liveaboard trip. For more information see our Viti Levu travel information section. Whole boat charter rate (per night): Please ask us.

Add-on package: If you wish to stay in Volivoli Resort for 1 night before departure and 1 night after the return of SY Fiji Siren, special prices are available. Return airport transfers are included in this package. Please check with us for further details.

If this is your only planned visit to Fiji then we strongly recommend that you consider a 2 night add-on stay at Pacific Harbour in Viti Levu, to allow you to witness the not-to-be-missed shark feed diving. This option is also convenient as it is located close to both the international gateway airports in Fiji - Nadi and Suva.

Customer reviews:

Customer rating - Very good
"Very good livaboard as compared to previous trips. The staff particularly were very good - and the dive guides excellent at finding things - especially the small stuff (very small pygmy seahorses). The one thing we did not like was the shark "enticement" which really was a shark feed - which we dont like as liveaboards should not feed the fish." - , Australia, 7 January 2015 ...

Customer rating - Excellent
"It was the best liveaboard we have ever been in. The crew was absolutely amazing, the dive director (Rani) is simply the best, we had a fantastic time. The ship is in top conditions, great facilities, even better that the Indo Siren." - , Brazil, 4 January 2015 ....

Customer rating - Very good
"Beautiful boat, and kept very clean by crew making time on board very pleasant. Amazing crew where things constantly ran on time on schedule, accommodative to change in weather/sea conditions and request from guests (where it allowed them) with safety first for all on board. Great service, good attention to guests, very friendly." - , Japan, 24 December 2014 ...
